Wayfinding digital signage that stays up to date
impressBox turns a venue’s floor plans and store list into a wayfinding template. The map runs on the same screens as your campaigns, each screen can show the entries for its own location, and store changes are made in the dashboard or by asking the AI agent, not by redrawing the map.

Vilnius Outlet, a shopping outlet in Vilnius, already runs its campaign content, from seasonal sales to brand promotions, on LED and LCD screens with impressBox. In 2026 it added wayfinding: instead of commissioning a new map, the four-floor map from the outlet’s website, with store categories and search, was rebuilt as an impressBox template.
The map template first ran on a player in September 2026, ahead of the rollout on the outlet’s screens. The next step is the same map on the web and on visitors’ phones, through a share link to the template. Watch the Outlet Park LED screens (video by BK Grupė)
The same map on screens and phones
Share links, new in impressBox, open a template as a public web page. Each link is long and unguessable, can be limited to a period and can be revoked, so a venue can offer the map from its screens on its website or behind a QR code without a separate app. For hands-on control of a screen from a phone on the same network, see the remote control microsite.

What is wayfinding digital signage?
Screens that help visitors find their way: floor maps, store directories and directions. In impressBox the map is a dynamic template, so the directory is data that can be updated without redesigning the map.
Can we reuse the map we already have?
Yes. The Vilnius Outlet template reuses the floor map from the outlet’s own website, with its four floors, store categories and search, instead of a new map design.
How are store changes made?
By editing the template fields in the dashboard, or by asking the AI agent, for example to rename a store. Template parameters can change on screen without reloading the page.
Can each screen show where it is?
A template can read the tags assigned to the screen it plays on, so entries can be limited to screens with a given tag, for example one floor or one entrance.
Can visitors open the map on their phones?
That is the next step at Vilnius Outlet. Share links open a template as a public web page through a long, unguessable link that can have validity dates and can be revoked, so the same map can be offered on the web and on phones.

Any screen with an impressBox player: the template is a small web app that runs inside the player like other content. See the supported hardware.
