LED displays

Software for LED displays

impressBox plays content on LED screens at their exact pixel size, schedules their brightness through the day and, with LED monitoring (beta), detects failing modules from the screen’s power consumption before viewers notice.

Find a failing module before the customer does

An LED wall gives no feedback when a module fails; usually someone notices a dark patch. LED monitoring, currently in beta, builds a record of the screen’s normal power consumption and flags readings that do not fit.

When it finds an anomaly, a self-test moves white squares across the display, first large, then module-sized, and marks each module as failed, at risk or working. Technicians get the exact location and can bring the right parts. How LED monitoring works.

LED tasks by prompt

Most of these come from the prompt library.

  • Set the display width and height to 384x640.

Matches the player output to the LED wall’s pixel size.

  • Set the output resolution to 3840x2160.

Changes the resolution of the player output.

  • Set the LED wall brightness to 100% at 12:00 and reduce it to 50% at 17:00.

Schedules a fixed brightness pattern on the device.

  • Outpaint this product image to expand the background and context.

Extends the image with generated background so it fills the screen.

  • Take a screenshot of what the LED screen is showing now.

Shows the current output in the chat, without a site visit.

Screens installed and operated, in the Baltics

Frequently asked questions

Can impressBox play content at an LED wall’s exact resolution?

Yes. The player’s display width and height and its output resolution can be set to match the wall, for example by asking the AI agent: “Set the display width and height to 384x640”.

How does LED monitoring detect failures?

It learns the normal power consumption of the screen and flags anomalies. When it finds one, a self-test moves white squares across the display, module by module, and shows the result as a grid: failed, at risk or working. LED monitoring is in beta. See LED monitoring.

Does LED monitoring need extra hardware?

Power data is read over Modbus RTU. In buildings where the player can read an existing energy meter over Modbus TCP, for example through the building management system, no extra hardware is needed.

Can brightness follow the time of day?

Yes, with brightness and backlight schedules. Brightness based on sunrise and sunset times is coming soon.

Do you also supply and install LED screens?

In the Baltics, yes: the same company designs, installs and operates LED and LCD screens. See impressbox.lt.
