Retail chains & convenience

Digital signage for retail chains and convenience stores

impressBox lets retail and convenience chains run the screens and in-store audio of every store from one dashboard, or by asking the AI agent: promotions on schedule, price boards from templates, and screens that switch off outside opening hours.

Everyday store requests

Most of these come from the prompt library; each is a single request to the AI agent.

  • Play this file every working day at 11:00, once.

Adds a weekday schedule so the promo plays at the right time in every store.

  • Rotate these 3 files each week on all internal communications screens until the end of this year.

Sets a weekly rotation with an end date.

  • Publish the files to their matching devices, as named in the second part of each file name.

Reads the file names and sends each file to the right store screen.

  • Set the device volume to 20%.

Changes the volume on the chosen device.

  • Turn the backlight off at 22:00 and back on at 09:00.

    Adds a daily backlight schedule.

Works with the screens you have

impressBox runs on professional displays and media players, so a chain can start with the screens it already owns. When Narvesen and Caffeine joined, their existing Samsung and LG screens were brought into the same network.

Players keep showing cached content when a store connection drops, and screens in the same store share new content over the local network. See offline resilience and supported hardware.

Frequently asked questions

Can we manage music and screens in stores together?

Yes. Narvesen convenience stores and Caffeine coffee shops control music playlists, screen content and device power from one impressBox interface. See the Narvesen & Caffeine story.

Do we need new screens?

Usually not. impressBox runs on professional displays from LG and Samsung, Android displays and TVs, BrightSign and more; Narvesen and Caffeine brought their existing Samsung and LG screens into the network. See supported hardware.

Can screens turn off outside opening hours?

Yes. Display on/off and backlight schedules run on each device, so screens switch off after hours and back on in the morning.

Can store staff change what is on screen?

Yes, within the permissions of their account. They can use the dashboard, or ask the AI agent in the dashboard chat, on WhatsApp or in Slack.

What does it cost?

The software player starts at €15 per screen per month on a 36-month term, excluding VAT. See pricing.
