Philips Signage Setup

For Philips D-Line, Q-Line, and P-Line Android displays.

Accessing Android Menu

Philips Professional displays run a custom Android skin. To access the underlying system:

Press on Remote:

HOME + 1 8 8 8

This will open the Professional Settings / Admin Mode menu.

Installation via USB

  1. Prepare USB

    Copy app.apk to USB drive.

  2. Install

    Navigate to Apps or Storage in the Android menu.

    Select the USB drive and run the APK file.

  3. Configure Boot Source

    Go to Signage Display > Source Settings > Custom App.

    Select impressBox and click Save.

MDM & CMND

CMND Deploy

Philips proprietary management tool.

  • Add APK to CMND server library.
  • Drag & drop to display group.
  • Set as "Custom App" source remotely.

Third-Party MDM

Supported on newer Android 8/10 models.

  • Enroll via ADB or QR code (if camera available).
  • Set Kiosk mode policy.

Note on older models

Some older Philips D-Line models running Android 4.4 are not supported by the latest impressBox app. Please contact support for legacy APK versions if needed.
